Frequently asked questions
Q: What do I need to bring?
A: The only thing we need is a vaccination certificate, however, you are welcome to bring toys, blankets, food or other items.
Q: How often are my dogs walked?
A: We walk all dogs at least twice a day (once in the morning, once in the afternoon), we do walk dogs more frequently if we are able.
Q: Do you provide food during my pets stay?
A: We can provide both wet and dry food at no extra cost during your pets stay and we feed to your requests, however, if your pet has any special dietary requirements, we ask you to bring your own food.
Q: Are you happy to RAW feed my dog?
A: Yes. We have a fridge-freezer in the kennel kitchen. We are experienced and happy to do this, we also have additional freezer storage for frozen food, so it won’t be a problem if your pet is staying with us for a prolonged period of time.
Q: Can we come to see the kennels and cattery before our pets stay?
A: Yes. You’re more than welcome to come and take a look around, ask questions and talk to us about daily routines, in fact, we would encourage you to do so. We often do viewings outside of opening hours so that we are looking after our guests first. We ask that you let us know if you’d like to pop in for a visit, but if you’re just passing by we can give you a quick tour.
Q: Our pet is taking medication, can you continue their course during their stay?
A: Absolutely! We are happy to continue administering any medication or supplements that your pet needs.
Q: Do I need to bring cash?
A: You can bring cash, but we also accept all major cards and cheques (with a valid bank card).
Q: I miss my fur babies while away, can you send pictures?
A: Of course we can. If you leave an email address with us on your booking form, we will do our best to send some pictures during their stay, we also post regularly on Facebook so you can check in on our page and see any updates.
Q: Can you bath my dog during their visit/stay?
A: Absolutely! As well as boarding services, we do offer baths, nail trimming, ear cleaning and anal gland expression at an additional cost.
